Paper Abstract:
|
Interactive artwork relies on heavy participation from spectators. Due to this reason, the quality of the artwork depends
on the techniques and not the intention of the artist. A lot of interactive artists are restricted in their creative activities
coupled with the fact that famous artists are not majoring in art but in computer technologies and programming. In this
paper, we propose the VisionArtTool to help artists to create their own artwork without prior knowledge on technology.
It is a tool that utilizes computer vision to produce the artwork. Recently, there are many tools used by artists but the tool
did not provide a function for interactions between artists and spectators. In order for the artists to use this tool, the proposed
tool is based on visual programming and consists of vision-based functions as menu. Therefore, artists can apply
the techniques to their interactive artworks easily and can represent their intention. |
