Paper Abstract:      Feedback is an integral part of any language learning course in higher education. This has traditionally been in written form for assignments received from students doing a blended learning Business English course. The aim of this study is to examine student response to receiving audio rather than written feedback. It takes an action research approach. Data from an online structured questionnaire is collected. Subsequently, general themes & trends are identified. The findings indicate that students appreciated the quality & quantity of audio feedback. The general preference was audio or a combination of audio & written feedback. Audio feedback seems to be an effective way to give & receive feedback. A further benefit is the additional personalized listening practice that students receive.
