Paper Abstract:      During the rise of a game development group within the academic context, it was seen that the challenge is much different than it was thought, since the student is not yet graduate and mature enough to deal with this kind of development process. The game development is generally complex, so along with the idea of producing games, came the need of controlling all the process and managing the human resources throughout this group. This paper presents an iterative incremental process control management for academic groups of game development. With the help from the university software engineering factory, known as GAIA, this process was created using the features found to get not just satisfactory results as software, but also the continuous improvement of the presented process by keeping the development and the process updated through an iteration review step.
