Paper Abstract:      With the evolution of the mobile platform and the rapid adoption of mobile devices such as cell phones and other handheld devices, social networks have migrated onto the mobile platform. In decentralized mobile social network applications users may have dynamically changing requirements for the way in which they want to share their information. In such situations, access control policies cannot be defined based on the identity or role of another person as in traditional access control solutions, or be specified before the time. Access control policies may require continuous adjustments to adapt to the current situation. To date access control in decentralized mobile social networks has not received much attention. The paper introduces a context-aware trust-based social access control mechanism, inspired by trust-based access control, for securely sharing information in decentralized mobile social networks. The access control mechanism takes advantage of both the capabilities of the Semantic Web and mobile ad-hoc networks, which are suitable to solve the problems of creation, distribution and discovery of information in decentralized mobile social networks.
