Paper Abstract:

This paper focuses on the study of Smart Bins, an augmented recycle bin developed to increase childrens awareness
regarding recycling activities. Smart Bins was designed as an educational game intended to ease the learning process
while motivating children to adopt more responsible attitudes towards the environment. This paper describes the Smart
Bins application and presents the results of the user tests regarding usability and the applications impact on childrens
lives. |
