Paper Abstract:
|
Enhancing security from the early developmental stage provides enormous benefits in terms of reduced costs and
vulnerability. However, earlier software developers neglected the issue of software security at the developmental stage
because of tight development lead times, insufficient budgets, and a misplaced perception of security. Research efforts
have been and are still being made to develop secure SDLC (Security Development Life Cycle) methodologies to
enhance security functions for software developers, but still not sufficient. This paper presents simple practical security
methodologies and guide that are essentially required to remove vulnerabilities at the developmental stage of software.
This paper will help to achieve the minimum necessity of software security issues at the developmental stage of secure
software. |
