Paper Abstract:
|
Encouraging scientific research is a hard task, especially when problems related to communication and geographical dispersion of the people are involved in context. These communication and geographical distribution problems can be solved through a groupware. This paper presents SIC, a web application developed to provide support for the collaborative research and to carry out its dissemination among different courses, thus providing an interdisciplinary approach. In addition, the SIC performs the recommendation of students for research projects based on the similarity among students and projects. The use of the system provided a considerable increasing in the scientific activity of the analyzed context. |
