Paper Abstract:
|
In this paper we introduce urban participatory sensing and several problems that appear when you try to deploy of in a real environment, mostly involving the security of the platform and data integrity. We will explain why this type of platform has gained strength and why security is so important in it. We also explain the different challenges that need to be overcome in order to provide security in motes; mainly due to price or hardware restrictions. Focusing in these restrictions, we will analyze other approaches and propose a new system based on stepped security and its implementation. |
