Paper Abstract:

This paper discusses some critical issues in security and privacy in e-collaboration by exposing the case of electronic
commerce. It first focuses on online security and details current means to ensure security in electronic transactions,
whatever their form. It then gets to the delicate question of privacy, for which it reveals some current ways information is
collected by online sites and some traps in privacy policies to be aware of, to conclude with privacy in the case of
electronic commerce. Each section is illustrated with real data issued from PayPals well-known online payment site. |
