Paper Abstract:
|
The main aim of this research is to address the problem of developing of a conceptual structure of an information system for management of education quality. A database containing a number of syllabi from a technical school was studied in details to propose ways to improve syllabus quality management. The main findings of this research propose to use such characteristics as validity, usability, and efficiency to evaluate syllabus and provide objective measurements to monitor its improvements. Statistical methods were implemented as the main tool to estimate these characteristics. User trials show the efficiency of such an approach on the department level. The results of this study may be of particular interest to managers in higher education as well as to system developers for educational institutions. |
