Paper Abstract:
|
We propose a novel approach for robust facial expression recognition which functions by first representing expressions
by different variants of local texture based LBP descriptors and then classifying them by an ensemble of supervised SVM
classifiers. We evaluate local descriptors following bag-of features method by sampling a representative set of local sub
windows and then evaluating an LBP descriptor for each window. We evaluate the efficacy of our approach by
conducting experiments on benchmark dataset - JAFFE. |
