Paper Abstract:
|
Rlocus is an Internet application developed using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET®. Rlocus implements the root locus method which is studied in introductory courses of Process Control. Although the method is well documented in books and several programs are available to draw the final plot, few computer programs have been developed to ease the process of learning it. While developing the software two types of objectives were proposed. First, the development of a friendly and useful application to understand the root locus method was planned. The second goal was to test the .NET® technology for process control applications. |
