Advanced technology has changed how we learn and how we communicate nowadays. An online collaborative
community was created to support a five-year 4.7 million Research Infrastructure in Minority Institutions" (RIMI)
program at California State University San Bernardino in the United States. The paper describes the RIMI online
community: goals of the web-based community, technology and strategies used for facilitating the community, and
challenges professionals have been encountering. |
