Paper Abstract:
|
This paper proposes innovative concepts to be applied with current DW ETL tools, allowing an automated design of
dimensional models. This is possible through a demand driven approach that uses cartridges of pre-built generic
dimensional models, which allow a very intuitive design approach based on high-level attainable analytic goals. While
reusing dimensional solutions, the need of DW expert direct support at dimensional design stage is no longer mandatory. |
