Paper Abstract:
|
The rapid development of the Internet has enabled us to experience various services over the Web. Internet banking or e-commerce in particular allows us to break away from the constraints of time and space on our lives. The Internet, previously only accessible through a PC, has penetrated ever more deeply into our daily lives with the proliferation of smart phones. Users can now collect information while on the move, and are able to identify destinations and points of interest even in an unfamiliar area. However, the Internet is generating many adverse effects despite making our lives more convenient. Threats to our privacy and security are posed by the exposure of our personal information and the leakage of personal credit card information, and so forth. There is also an ongoing cyber war involving DDoS attacks against commercial enterprises and public agencies. One of the main culprits of such adverse effects is malware. Both personal information and important business information saved in PCs infected with malware are being leaked. Moreover, spam e-mails are sent and DDoS attacks are made using BotNet. As such, this paper proposes a system for automatically collecting websites and SNS postings which spread such malware, threatening the safe use of Internet. |
