Paper Abstract:
|
With the emergence of new technological tools that help to complement the activities carried out in the educational field, such as virtual worlds, is possible have an environment with great interaction and immersion, where students have at their disposal different types of tools necessary for carrying out its activities. The objective of this paper is to present a proposal for developing a virtual world for teaching computer networks, offering intelligent agents to assist users and also adapts its resources according to the cognitive profile and expertise of the individual. For this, are used the virtual world OpenSim, the environment Moodle and the Sloodle technology, that realizes the interconnection between them. In the immersive environment, agents are provided with rules of Artificial Intelligence (AI), which offer support to learners according to these cognitive characteristics, as well as their level of expertise. |
