Paper Abstract:
|
Project Ubiquitous was inspired by the question of how the notion of wireless communication, of mobile learning,
could be applied within the field of professional education and training. Specifically, one asks how young people and
adults manage to make sense (Perriault, 1997) of technologies that are an integral part of every aspect of everyday life.
In other words, one asks how practices that have arisen through spontaneous usage driven by the laws of market forces,
which themselves fuel the search for new forms of communication, can be transferred to the acquisition of fundamental
cultural knowledge (Galimberti, 1999). |
