Paper Abstract:      This paper outlines how a BA (Honours) Management, Technology and Enterprise direct entry programme has been designed and enhanced using a blended learning approach. Traditional approaches to teaching and learning have been combined with the use of online technologies, making the programme creative and up-to-date, with a view to incorporating learning approaches that stimulate greater independent learning and better progression of employability skills. A range of potential challenges with using blended learning are highlighted which have been identified as particularly relevant to a blended programme and that need to be addressed by the programme team. The paper will contribute to the knowledge and awareness of academics developing up-to-date and creative programmes in the future and will stimulate reflection on the key development areas and main developmental challenges.
