Paper Abstract:
|
An important feature in the convergence of network is provision of multimedia applications and services. Video-on-demand is key factor, which attains the goal of delivering the video services anywhere. The delivery of multimedia to heterogeneous mobiles environment is very exigent task because multimedia services face various limitations caused by mostly wireless channel unpredictability, limited bandwidth, assorted behavior of protocols with standards and fading effect, etc. We have optimized previous patch peer technique and proposed proactive patch peer technique for video-on demand streaming. The proposed technique saves the bandwidth of network, makes a fast delivery of video-on-demand, reduces the network load by using unicast messaging scheme and makes targeted search for patching in hybrid network. |
