Paper Abstract:      Mobile computing drives towards connecting the devices with each other and collecting information of the users in order to provide more functionalities and services. This raises a number of questions concerning the privacy of the user. This paper discusses privacy issues related to mobile devices, and presents a study conducted of information sharing. Users’ willingness to share information was studied by defining three level of settings which determine the amount of information shared between the user’s device and other devices. Using this approach, a mobile device UI was demonstrated and a survey of information sharing was conducted. Results indicate that people have strong willingness to have control over the data they share as well as to define a selected group of trusted people, with who they could share information more freely.
