Paper Abstract:
|
The development of e-government is a major technological achievement allowing broader citizen participation to political representative systems, enhancing thus the flexibility and the openness of these systems. This electronic participation can take place in various scales ranging from the national to local. This report describes a series of fundamental and advanced political analytics which can form the basis of an electronic system for addressing the need of municipalities for public deliberation of proposals. Specifically, social factors such as citizen digital reputation, participation frequency and innovation, vote relevance, and the number of neutral votes are taken into consideration. |
