Paper Abstract:
|
This work presents a proposal for associative information retrieval based on spreading activation (SA) in a semantic network (SN). It has been implemented in a prototype and tested using a SN made of a controlled vocabulary from the health domain and a collection of annotated objects. The results of performance tests with varying configurations of SA parameters allowed the identification of configurations that optimize its execution time. |
