Paper Abstract:      SystemC is a de-facto standard for Register Transfer Language (RTL), behavioral and system-level modeling, but the lack of open-source parsers has represented, for a long time, a strong obstacle to the development of a large family of analysis, synthesis, estimation, and optimization tools. Only very recently there has been a variety of implementations of SystemC parsers. After a brief summary of previous solutions, the paper outlines our own contribute to fill the gap. The major merit of the new solution is the straightforwardness to be repeated and customized, when necessary.
