Paper Abstract:      In this paper, we present parallel implementation of the Gauss-Huard algorithm with scaled partial pivoting strategy on a cluster of Linux workstations using PVM as a parallel programming environment. We developed and verified a timing model to accurately estimate the execution time of the proposed algorithm. The obtained experimental results for the test problems and the analysis of the algorithm show that the proposed parallel algorithm offer high speed, efficiency and numerical stability.
