Paper Abstract:
|
The issue of cloud database security is central to overall cloud operations. Lack of database protection causes confidential information leakage and potential significant financial burden. Encryptions such as homomorphic or order preserving - allow to increase safety elastically while preserving DBMS access interfaces. This paper presents an order preserving scheme based on radix representations and manipulating with them. We provide the basic algorithm and proof of its correctness. Then we analyze its security and propose an extension of our basic algorithm to increase cryptographic strength. We provide complexity analysis based on size of output ciphertexts. Finally, we conclude with discussion of applicability space for the algorithm. |
