Paper Abstract:
|
In this paper we use computational intelligence numerical optimization techniques to design optimum finite impulse
response (FIR) digital filters. Results will be presented and compared with three different numerical optimization
techniques developed, including genetic algorithms, simulated annealing and particle swarm optimization. These
numerical optimization algorithms will be used in the optimum FIR filter design, specifically applied to the problem of an
unconstrained non-linear phase filter with arbitrary magnitude response. |
