Paper Abstract:      WedescribethecurrentstateofdevelopmentofanenvironmentfortheautomaticgenerationofspecificcircuitsinFPGAforSIMDapplicationsfromhighlevelspecifications.Themethodologyusedisbasedonthetransfor-mationofthewholealgorithminagraphofLUTs(LookUpTables),withouttheuseoflibrarycomponents,thatimplementsalltherequiredoperations.Thequalityoftheobtainedcircuitryisguaranteedbytheuseof“typeinference”,atechniquethatisfocusofcurrentresearchonthedesignhighlevelcircuitgenerators,whichiscontextdependent.Twosortofimplementationsoftheiterativeexpressionsarepossiblewiththesetools:withorwithoutacompleteunrolling.Asafirstcasestudy,wehavetestedtheefficiencyofthisenvironmentintheimplementationofanintegerdiscretewavelettransform(DWT).
