Paper Abstract:
|
The adoption of Model-Driven Engineering (MDE) is increasing and is widely recognized as an important approach for building software systems. The MDE approach to software development has not only changed the way software systems are built and maintained but also the way they are tested. In the Model Driven Test approach, software test cases can be derived from software specification models by transformations. However, supporting tools and transformation engines for MDE do not have a process-centered focus that addresses different kinds of software process activities, such as application modeling and testing. In this paper, we aim to describe our approach to provide a mechanism for supporting model-driven test specifications and enactment based on a metamodeling foundation. |
