Paper Abstract:
|
The main goal of the paper is to present the characteristics of business renovation efforts and readiness for electronic business
(e-government) in Slovenia. It is clear that successful e-government implementation requires not only introduction of modern information technology, but also business renovation, business process reengineering and e-business strategy. The paper stressed the necessity for changes in organizational culture, management techniques, socio-economic restructuring and other changes leading towards a shift in organizational restructuring in the context of globalization
(e-government, e-business, etc.). The case of business renovation project in one of the Slovene Ministries is also presented. |
