Paper Abstract:
|
Open and Distance learning has been widely researched the past few years, nevertheless the focus was more on its technological dimension. The plethora of advanced tools supporting e-learning and the difficulties in their adoption in real environments has only demonstrated that the primary need is a paradigm shift in the educational model. In this work we describe an effort to enhance the traditional information transfer model with social learning. A specific use case of applying this mixed model to a higher educational institute is examined and a collaboration Peer to Peer network approach is proposed. |
