Paper Abstract:
|
In this paper, a new corner detection method for grey-level images is proposed. This new approach exploits the nonsubsampled contourlet transform, NSCT, to capture significant 2-D image point features across spatial and directional resolutions. It is based on scale-interaction model. The comparative evaluation against two well-known corner detectors clearly indicates the improved performance of the proposed method in terms of the following criteria: detection, localization and computational cost. This confirms the success of using the NSCT transform for corner detection. |
