Paper Abstract:      There is a shift in the knowledge development process taking place at the various locations of knowledge production and companies face the chance of reducing transactional costs and collaborative costs to virtually zero. Process network coordination is the greatest lever to create value in a knowledge-based globalised economy but especially SMEs are underrepresented in this development. There is a lack of investment into ICT for increasing competitiveness of an enterprise. The authors present explicative and explorative tools that network external information to business intelligence.
