Paper Abstract:
|
The use of narrative bits narbs has been discussed as an alternative means of looking at opinions of the those who are producing narbs, for instance, in the form of tweets. The 2016 US Presidential elections witnessed significant use of tweets at all levels of the political discourse. A large set of tweets are analyzed here using the narb-based analytic process to offer an alternative narrative related to the matter of leaks as witnessed through thousands of narbs based on a specific hashtag. The results suggest that different narratives were being created and circulated using narbs and in the future these narratives should become a part of the analysis of political discourse. |
