Paper Abstract:
|
The location-based services (LBS) deal with spatially continuous data such as temperature and air pressure. Although the distributed measurement infrastructure such as sensor networks generates real-world data, the data is incomplete and imprecise. Moreover, since spatially continuous data are large amount of collected data in the real world, we need to manage such data in a distributed architecture. As a way to manage such data, P2P-based key-value store has attracted much attention. However, existing database systems cannot deal with spatially continuous data. In this paper we design P2P-based distributed key-value store using an interpolation technique for managing spatially continuous data. |
