Paper Abstract:      Information systems today are used in a variety of fields such as computer aided design, digital libraries, data mining and multimedia systems. Theses systems contain implicit data which it will be necessary to extract and exploit, by using data mining techniques. To exploit the data from these systems, the choice of appropriate storage structure becomes essential. In this paper, we propose tree signatures which we apply to the field of data mining. The current work concerns implementation of the itemsets discoverer, using the technique based on tree signatures, to represented transactions from the input databas. The construction of the tree, representing the transactions signatures, requires only a single access to the database of transactions. Only the tree will be used later in the process of generating frequent itemsets.
