Paper Abstract:      This paper reports the present initial stage of an application being developed by the author to compare the outputs of functions and commands using Microsof Office as the central platform. With this application the author intends to give Microsoft Office’s intermediate level users a tool to evaluate the accuracy of routines developed to compute the same function, using different algorithms or the same algorithm using different code. To perform this evaluation, the user will have the option to use routines embedded in Office or coded in its Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) modules, as well to access external routines, namely contained in dynamic link libraries, applications developed with Microsoft Studio and a range of mathematical and statistical software that will be enlarging in successive versions of the application, starting with Maple and SPSS.
