Paper Abstract:
|
Business process reengineering (BPR) projects bear high risk and present tremendous effort for organizations. That is
why is important to evaluate possible scenarios before BPR project actually starts. Simulation modeling might be used to
evaluate effects of large scale BPR projects. The article presents use of simulation modeling in public sector with special
emphasis on relationship between simulation results of To-Be and As-Is models with conclusions which might be derived
by interpreting simulation results. Obtained results present that organization can significantly benefit from BPR projects
while simulation modeling might be used to monitor and verify project trajectory. |
