Paper Abstract:
|
This article presents the efforts toward modernizing the delegate public services through the use of organizational
technologies suitable for the transformations brought about by the advance of the digital economy. This effort is based on
the forming of cooperative relationships between organizations through inter-organizational networks, and is theoretically
founded on the concept of virtual organizations. The relevance of such a subject can be attributed to the importance that
these strategic alliances have been assuming, in the form of dynamic networks of companies that make intensive use of
information and communication technology. It is also important given the possibilities that a management model based
on the theory of virtual organizations may offer to overcome the challenges that the Brazilian socio-economic
environment represents to the notary and public registry area. This document is meant to describe the context into which
the notary and registry services are inserted, highlighting the necessity to continuously promote its modernization and
improvement. The methodology used was theoretical and empirical, in which, in addition to reviewing the literature on
the subject matter, aimed to verify the consistency with the practical reality. Based on the initial findings a conceptual
reference model for the management of this modernizing process is under development. |
