Paper Abstract:
|
The digital divide represents a big challenge in e-government developing strategies. The complexity of this asymmetry in the distribution and effective use of ICT resources is due to multiple heterogeneous components. The wide spread of the cellular telephony in many population, the new generation data services (2G+) and low costs of this technology provide opportunities to tackle the problem. The presented
m-government project feasibility study addresses the reduction of total cost of use of services provided by a Local Agency (LA) and offers services tailored on user needs and technology skill. |
