Paper Abstract:
|
The utilization of a high-resolution visualization screen facilitates the understanding of problems in which there are necessary multiple levels of detail. That is to say, in problems in which it is needed to project great amount of images, to become familiar with the environment, but it is also necessary to offer the sufficient resolution to be able to observe the details in small regions of the screen. This type of screens also allows a big group of investigators and/or students to share, analyze and interact with great amount of data and to make simulations based on them. It could be desirable to have a high-resolution visualization screens in normal classrooms but their cost forbid it. Using off-the-shelf equipment we have built a high resolution screen in ESPOL under the $10000 budget. |
