Paper Abstract:      The 3-year m-learning project investigated whether the use of mobile technologies in the hands of young adults (aged 16–24) might be used to engage them in learning activities, start to change their attitudes to learning and contribute towards improving their literacy, numeracy and life chances. The research findings of this project are now available, and this paper focuses specifically on the findings relating to the use of mobile devices by homeless young adults in the UK and compliments the conference paper already published about their use for learning (Savill-Smith, 2005).
