Paper Abstract:
|
Numerous Internet-based approaches exist for impacting lifestyle related behaviors, especially those surrounding risk factors to obesity. Within the literature, a number of factors have been identified as important components of Internet-based health behavior change programming, which can be organized into five key principles: recreate the human experience, personalize to the individual, create a dynamic experience, provide a supportive environment, and build upon sound theory. The Principles for eHealth Behavior Change model depicts how these can be applied within Internet programming. |
