Paper Abstract:
|
This paper presents an innovative concept based on EAP smartcards and micro-authentication servers. The Extension Authentication Protocol (EAP) is widely use for authentication purposes in Wi-Fi, WiMax or IPSEC infrastructures. Basically messages are exchanged between client and server entities. We have developed an open javacard platform, for both EAP clients and EAP servers. We propose to use these devices in order to introduce distributed PKI architectures, traceability service, and remote management in emerging pervasive environments. |
