Paper Abstract:      This paper proposes a novel number representation for analog computing system. An important problem is that noise in the circuit becomes an error in the system. In order to solve the problem, a redundant number system is applied in our work. It is obtained that error can be removed in the introducing number system in the case that the system satisfies an equal error factor property. Interval arithmetic is also combined in our number system named interval redundant number system. Time error recovery complexity is proved to be a constant time comparing with a linear time for continuous valued number system. It is shown that some fundamental arithmetic operations, such as addition and multiplication, can be performed in the classical interval arithmetic manner. Finally, an error tolerance is also included in this work.
