Paper Abstract:
|
The growing popularity of Web Services (WS) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) creates a demand on integration
of human and web services in an efficient business process. The main problem of such integration is a different time
scale in which human and web services operate. The paper suggests creating a human web services interface based on
intelligent agents (IAs) technology. The IAs have the potential to speed up the business process by applying logical rules
and excluding human from a decision-making process in some obvious situations. The approach is illustrated by the
example of the Intelligent Scheduling System, which generates a schedule of patients training sessions in large hospitals. |
