Paper Abstract:
|
Task models are widely used within the research field of HCI for the model-based development of interactive systems. Recently introduced approaches applied task models to model cooperative behavior of people using devices within smart environments. We provide a usability evaluation method, which is integrated into the task model-based development process of interactive systems, particularly focused on smart environments. We discuss the evaluation at all stages of development: beginning with task and location modeling, via a virtual environment until the physical environment is set up. To evaluate the resulting artefacts at different development stages, we provide tool support accordingly. |
