Paper Abstract:
|
The automation of tasks with autonomous systems makes possible to consider multiagent systems for managing some of
the endeavors related to projects. We propose the integration of a temporal reasoning-based mechanism for monitoring
the activities that are developed during a project and a multiagent based knowledge and information distribution system.
The system tries to detect temporal discrepancies (delays, activities going ahead of time) and notify their existence. This
mechanism was designed for the JITIK multiagent system and relies on the use of Allens interval algebra. The
mechanism was tested with representative cases; it was found that it detects all the situations where delays are involved. |
