Paper Abstract:      This article presents the implementation of semantic queries in online social networks. For this purpose we created a framework that uses Semantic Web to make relationships in such networks, and thereby create queries that would be very difficult to achieve in a conventional social network. The experiment used in this article was to create a ranking of affinity between users based on common interests. This work was done because of the clear need for more sophisticated queries, which would enable the computer to interpret these relationships semantically. The contributions of this study are relevant because they show that it is possible apply semantic, for instance, to a Facebook profile, in addition to showing the viability of creating semantic-based social applications. The inclusion of semantic in the current Web aims at allowing agents software to use Web pages more intelligently, thus offering better services.
