Paper Abstract:
|
A case study of a Russian universitys project with two Australian private vocational colleges was conducted where for 6 years Russian students were coming to Australia to gain global competencies at local VET colleges while continuing studying at their home institution via distance learning. The project attracted to Australia significantly more Russian students as compared to direct recruitment by Australian institutions in the given location; when done with the project, up to 50% of participating students either transferred to Australian universities, or later enrolled in Australian postgraduate programs. |
