Paper Abstract:
|
In this paper, a method for designing a 3D hologram controlled by motion capture and visualized through a holographic
pyramid is presented. The paper covers the prototyping of the equipment with a view applied to the use of an interactive
display with the public. This prototype can be used so that, for example, in a superhero exhibition, the visitor will be able
to choose a character and, by using a motion capture suit, control that character in a way that he or she wishes. Since the
holographic pyramid allows more than a single person to make part of the scene and the others around also watch the
interaction, its advantage is that it is not an individual experience, as is the case with other current technologies. |
